In a landmark move to support and empower breast cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers, the ICanServe Foundation has unveiled a comprehensive patient manual titled "You Can Do This."

This invaluable resource is designed to provide not only information but also a dose of encouragement to those on their journey to wellness. With contributions from breast cancer survivors, medical experts, and personal anecdotes, this 106-page manual is a beacon of hope available in English, Tagalog, and Cebuano.

"You Can Do This" is more than just a manual; it's a lifeline for those navigating the challenging waters of breast cancer. It combines well-researched information from studies and established sources with the personal stories and insights of survivors who have walked the same path.

Importantly, the information within this manual has been meticulously verified by medical professionals, ensuring its reliability and accuracy.

What makes "You Can Do This" truly exceptional is its collaborative approach. It's not merely a product of medical knowledge but also a testament to the strength of community and shared experiences.

Breast cancer survivors have come together to offer their perspectives, and experts from various fields have lent their expertise, making this manual a holistic guide for anyone facing breast cancer.

Today's launch event for "You Can Do This" brought together key figures who have made this invaluable resource a reality. Doc Tess Annette Serrato-Libron, a Cebu-based doctor and cancer awareness advocate, shared her insights, alongside Nikoy de Guzman, President of ICanServe Foundation, and Alya Honasan, a journalist, ICanServe Foundation member, and cancer survivor.

They entertained questions from the media, underlining the importance of this manual in supporting breast cancer patients.

In her keynote address, Department of Health Undersecretary Rosario Vergeire celebrated the launch of the manual, acknowledging its significance in the lives of countless individuals and families affected by breast cancer. She stated, "I see this Manual as not just a publication; it is a lifeline, a source of empowerment, and a beacon of hope."
