One of the key highlights of the SM Cares Emergency Preparedness Forum 2025 held earlier this month at SM Seaside City Cebu was the turnover of the “Fireman’s Ladder: A Fire & Life Safety Game” by Deputy Chief for Operations, Fire Chief Superintendent Wilberto Rico Neil Kwan Tiu.




This interactive board game aims to teach fire safety in a fun and engaging way—making it easier for participants, including senior citizens and PWDs, to retain important life-saving knowledge.

SM Cares held a successful Emergency Preparedness Forum at SM Seaside City Cebu, bringing together PWDs and Senior Citizens from various groups across the city and province.

To emphasize the importance of having an emergency Go Bag, participants were given SM Cares tote bags containing essential items like snacks, a whistle, flashlight, and bottled water. Plus A thoughtful detail—the word “HELP” printed at the back—serves as a visual signal to alert rescuers during emergencies.
